Artist’s Statement: “Softer” is a piece inspired by the relationship I have built with my inner child. In reconnecting with them, I was able to discover my queerness and step into a version of myself I am proud of, and that helps other queer youth love and accept themselves all throughout their lifetimes.

Chloe is a queer educator who lives in California, in the U.S. When they are not attempting to influence young minds to “be the change they wish to see in the world,” they are working on ways to build and bring together the queer community through art.
