On Being a Disability Rights Accomplice

To me, being a social justice accomplice means that I step forward when others who have to focus on more serious matters, often due to being oppressed, cannot. My most recent accomplishment in this vein has been successfully campaigning for Governor Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania to proclaim July 2025 as Disability Pride Month, as you can see. As a proud bisexual woman myself, I look forward to the day when LGBTQ+ and disability pride is honored and proclaimed everywhere.
